When it comes to dessert, it doesn’t get much simpler than Kasim Hardaway's 4-ingredient homemade frozen yogurt recipe — with one caveat: This froyo needs at least two hours to set (or longer if you prefer a granita texture).
So don’t wait until a craving strikes. Make it in the morning to enjoy during a warm afternoon or surprise a loved one with dessert after dinner. All you need are frozen raspberries, agave nectar, plain Greek yogurt, and lemon juice.
Throw everything into a blender, pour the mixture into a pan, and put the pan in the freezer to let the yogurt solidify. Scoop the froyo into cups, garnish with mint, and enjoy!
These ingredients are also great for supporting your sleep hygiene. Yogurt is high in calcium, which is what your body needs to process melatonin and tryptophan. Those two hormones can help you fall asleep faster and wake up less often at night. Raspberries are also rich in melatonin, making this froyo treat a silky and sweet way to end the night. Not a fan of raspberries? You can swap them for tart cherries, bananas, kiwis, or pineapples — these fruits are known to help encourage good sleep.
