My personal mission in life is to boldly expand Black women’s awareness of the power they have to transform themselves. Yet, as a clinician and advocate for mental health, I also recognize that influential transformation must start first and foremost with myself. Making this vision a reality includes intentional moments of rest, pleasure, and self-preservation in order to create a life of ease. It relies on self-care, which is the ultimate form of self-compassion, so I can allow myself to show up as my best self in every area of my life.
One of my favorite ways of indulging in self-care is bubble baths. I’ll take them morning or night — bubble baths as self-care, and wellness in general, should be adaptable. And while I’m not new to bubble baths, one Christmas holiday a friend of mine bought me a bottle of Dr. Teal’s Eucalyptus and Spearmint Epsom Bath Foam. This product changed the entire trajectory of how I spend my bath time.
I quickly became a fan, and have since been on a personal life mission to acquire my own Dr. Teal’s collection. To date, I’ve tried 15 Dr. Teal’s products and have many opinions on which are the best. Dr. Teal’s has a devoted following of bath lovers, but if you’re new to the line, it can be overwhelming to figure out which to choose.
So without further ado, here are the 15 top products from Dr. Teal’s, ranked and reviewed:
1. Clarify & Smooth Foaming Bath with Pure Epsom
This product will instantly fill the room with some of the most beautiful scents you’ll ever smell. As soon as I poured the liquid into my bath, I said out loud, “This smells like love.” It’s sweet, fresh, and fruity. It also bubbles up really well and feels like a liquid massage on my body. It’s my absolute favorite of the Dr. Teal’s bubble baths.

5. Melatonin Sleep Soak with Essential Oil Blend Foaming Bath
This one, hands down, has changed the way that I sleep at night. It doesn’t foam up as much as the other products, but foam is not the magic ingredient anyway. If you do want the extra bubbles, I recommend mixing it with the Soothe & Sleep with Lavender Foaming Bath.
