The Sleep.com app uses sonar at sound frequencies above the level of adult human hearing. Because children and young adults can hear different sound frequencies than adults, in some cases they have reported hearing the app’s sensor sounds. However, this has not been shown to create any ongoing disturbance in children or young adults.
